Thought for the day (or is it two?)

C. S. Lewis, writing psalmically on the Psalter, and psaltily on the psalms: 'Where we find a difficulty we may always expect that a discovery awaits us. Where there is cover we hope for game.'

I've no idea whether that's true in religious matters, but it's certainly been my experience in every other aspect of life, so it seems a good bet.

All the same, I'm not sure I really care for psalmic parallelism, or particularly like King David's habit of saying everything twice in different words. Is it an acquired taste? Something that grows on you?
