My own polling station was at the County Cricket Ground, but this sign was funnier. In the end I bit the stubby pencil bullet and went for the Buggerall Democrats - swayed by a last-minute announcement that they would oppose the Stokes Croft Tesco. That reflects the finely-balanced nature of the choice, rather than my anti-Tesco passion. I'm not quite such Crofter that I was going to vote for the Independent Danny Kushlick, who has the backing of both Mark Thomas and the People's Republic of Stokes Croft, and is arguing amongst other things that "MPs should have to wear tabards displaying the names and logos of the companies with which they have a financial relationship, like a racing driver".
But I was tempted.
P.S. In the interests of fairness I should add that you can read the whole of Danny's People's Manifesto here. My favourite proposition? "We should disguise leopards as foxes to fuck up the gentry."
